A theme is data: a JSON document of design tokens that the resolver turns into one frozen ResolvedTheme per (colour scheme × contrast × density × reduced motion) combination. Nothing here touches the DOM, the network or the filesystem, so the same functions run in the React renderer, in React Native, in the CLI linter and in the builder's theme editor.
